At the 2002 Sundance Film Festival, Justin Lin's controversial film BETTER LUCK TOMORROW raised eyebrows and provoked heated discussions with its dark look at Asian American youth. It was a critical success at film festivals and is poised to break new ground with a theatrical release by MTV Films in early 2003. Co-presented with San Francisco State University Asian American Studies Department.
